My buddy told me about this cool way to make money so I’ve been applying it and it actually works. Ok I admit I sound like one of those dudes from an informercial or something, but seriously collecting scrap metal is a gold mine! Actually collecting gold would be a gold mine sort of but still not really. Basically I just go around and pick up the expensive stuff that I can bring home and then cash in. You can find out what the expensive and good stuff is by checking out the scrap metal price list and seeing what’s hot on the market. I don’t pick up coke cans or stuff like that, but if I see a nice heavy piece of aluminum then I’ll definitely grab it. It’s kind of funny though cause when I’m out scrapping I just look like a bum digging through trash that has a fetish for heavy metals and I don’t mean the music.

One thing you gotta be careful about when collecting scrap metal is that you’re not stealing from people. Sometimes you look in other peoples yards and it looks like they have stuff out by the trash can and are waiting for the trash dudes to come and get it. So you pick it up and load it into your truck and the next thing some hum dinger comes out of his house swearing at you to put back his bicycle. Whatever! Anyway, hopefully I could turn this into a way to make a ton of extra cash, we’ll see what happens!

Ok I realize how much I love golf whenever the rain kicks in and ruins my plans to go out and shoot a big 18 round of holes…that sounded perverted. But really I can’t stand that when I’ve had a terrible week at work, my boss has been riding me the entire time, I get home and find my girlfriend passed out on the couch from binge drinking, my dog won’t talk to me because I stopped taking him for walks and right then my phone rings and it’s my mother. could it get any worse? YES! That’s when the rain kicks in and ruins my plans. So I got fed up with it and made my way out to spend some money to get a really good golf rain suit. I didn’t know it was going to be one hundred bucks but I think it’s going to be worth it. I’ve tried golfing in the rain with my regular rain coat, one time I even wore a spandex outfit but it just sucks and doesn’t work right becuase it’s not made for golfing in the rain specifically.

Right now the weather is great but when April rolls around and start to shower a bunch I’m going to be ready and nothing is going to keep me from going to the course! I don’t care if there’s lightning and I get struck by it, I’ll die with my golf club in my hand and my rain suit on my back screaming at the top of my lungs “QUIT CALLING ME MOTHER!”. Ok that was far fetched, but anyway, I’m happy with my solution.

With summer just around the corner I went ahead and invested in some sunglasses since the sunlight gives me a terrible headache for whatever reason. Hopefully the high price I spent for these will pay off; i have to admit that I think I look pretty cool in my new sunglasses but I’m not sure how much they’re helping my game as they are helping my ego, oh well–both are goodI suppose to a certain extent.

So my place has been pretty lame for a long time now. I have no plants, no really cool furniture, I don’t even have a painting anywhere on the walls, maybe I should take a crayon and start coloring all over it or something. I just needed something! So I went out and started shopping around and was quickly reminded why I have nothing in my house…because it’s terribly expensive to decorate it in a way that doesn’t look tacky. Then I started looking online for cheap ideas and came across a website for cheap glass vases that gave me some really good ideas on how I can spend only a little bit of money but make it go a long way.

So I went online and out to wholesale stores and found a bunch of cool looking cheap vases and then bought some extra material. I got some water colors, some lights, some candles and some plants. Then I spent the next three days decorating these vases and changing things around. I have to admit I was terrible at it at first but once I got the hang of it I started making some really cool designs and it really stands out. Now I have some cheap vases that look totally awesome in almost every room of the house, I’m probably going to go out this weekend and get some more for decorating or maybe make some for my mom. I know I’m turning into a fruit but man it feels so good!

Are the new infrared grills worse than microwave ovens?

Most of my articles I write on deal with conspiracy theorists and their attempt to take anything and turn it into something, but this is one item that I may have to somewhat agree with them on. In order to answer the question, “is an infrared grill safe?” you’d have to get a clear defiition of just what “safe” really is. To some people saying that you’re only doing minor damage to your body is acceptable but you have to wonder, should someone who smokes cigarettes really care about what a microwave oven or infrared grill is doing to their body? Probably not.

For years people have sworn that microwave ovens are dangerous to our health and bring up the fact that they were originally banned in Russia and then the US grabbed the technology and downgraded the power so it wasn’t as strong. Now it should be noted that microwave ovens have since then increased their power beyond what the Russians tested with and deemed as unsafe. So if you believe that microwave ovens are safe then you should also believe that infrared grills are safe for you health as well since they use the same type of technology (ok it’s a different part of the heat spectrum) but basically what people find dagnerous with microwaves they would most certainly find dangerous with an infrared grill.

The problem I have with saying that a microwave oven is damaging to us is the fact that people have been using microwaves for a very long time and continue to live well into their 80′s and 90′s. So maybe the best arguement would be that an infrared grill could increase your chances of causing harm to your body, but then again what can’t? This is similar to the information I read on infrared grills on several websites. So do I think they’re harmful? Yes, but I also think that playing frisbee out in the sun is harmful but that doesn’t mean it’s enough that we shouldn’t do it. I think I’m going to go for it though, I’ve been really into cooking lately and think this can bring it to the next level. I’ve also ordered some salad dressing to add to my famous salads I’ve been putting together. I want to get some nice wine to add with it and we’ll be really cooking, who knows, maybe after all this I’ll just end up being a chef, getting paid to eat sounds awesome!
